Before you ask for a quote
Do you publish leased line prices?
No, and not as a dodge. A leased line is priced from the build, and the build depends on the address: whether we already pass the building, how far the last stretch runs, and what is in the way. We survey, then quote against that.
How long does it take to go live?
If the building is already on our fiber, days rather than weeks. If it is not, the survey comes first and the quote tells you what the build needs before you commit to anything.
What uptime do you commit to?
99.5%, written into the contract, with credits when we miss it. The full terms, including the fault response target, are on the service level agreement.
Is the bandwidth shared with other customers?
No. A business line is 1:1 uncontended. The capacity is yours, in both directions, at every hour. That is the difference between it and a home connection, which is a shared access network by design.
Do I get static IPs?
Where the application needs them. A leased line comes with a routable block; on business broadband it is an option. See static IP.
Something is broken on a line we already have.
This form goes to sales and does not open a docket. Use business support. It is severity-rated and it reaches the NOC.
