Sus was a village until recently and is still filling in. It lies in a valley between the Baner, Pashan and Sutarwadi hills, and the building that followed has been large and planned rather than street-by-street. Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park is about 13 km away, so a lot of these flats are occupied by people who work there and expect the line to hold a video call in the working day, not just a film in the evening. For us that means the unit is the complex, not the road: one build reaches hundreds of homes, and the check above answers for a flat rather than for Sus.
Sus sits in the pocket bounded by Sutarwadi, Bhukum and Mahalunge, with Pashan-Sus Road the spine that most addresses hang off and the NDA ridge closing the southern side. Baner is the neighbour people actually drive to for shops and schools. Because the hills constrain where a road can run, the societies here are reached by a handful of approaches rather than a grid. That is worth knowing if you are comparing two flats and one of them sits behind the ridge.
