Service level agreement
What a business connection commits to in writing, and what a home connection deliberately does not.
- 99.5% uptimeOn both business products
- 4-hour fault responseA target, in writing
- Named contactNot a support queue
- Root-cause summaryIssued on any breach

Why an SLA is the difference
It is what separates a business connection from a fast one.
An SLA is a written commitment with numbers attached and a consequence if they are missed. It is the reason a leased line costs what it does, and the reason a procurement team asks for one before it asks for a speed.
What is committed
Both business products carry the same uptime commitment. What differs is the contention, the monitoring and the redundancy.
Business bandwidth
- Uptime SLA
- 99.5%
- Fault response target
- 4 hours
- Throughput
- 1:1 symmetric
- Support
- Priority, with a named contact
Internet leased line
- Uptime SLA
- 99.5%
- Contention ratio
- 1:1 uncontended
- Monitoring
- 24×7 NOC
- Static IPs
- A routable /29 block
- Redundancy
- A secondary link over a diverse physical route, with automatic failover configured against your edge hardware
If the commitment is missed
The remedy is defined in your agreement rather than negotiated afterwards, and the NOC issues a root-cause summary for any incident that breaches the commitment.
What the numbers actually cost
A percentage is easy to print. This is the same figure expressed as time the line is allowed to be down.
- 99.99%
- 53 minutes a year, or about 4 minutes a month
- 99.9%
- 8.8 hours a year, or roughly 44 minutes a month
- 99.5% (our commitment)
- 43.8 hours a year, or about 3 hours 40 minutes a month
- 99%
- 87.6 hours a year, which is most of a working week
Figures that look alike can be far apart: 99.9% allows a fifth of the downtime that 99.5% does. We publish 99.5% because it is the figure in our agreements. When comparing quotes, check which figure each one commits to in writing, and what the credit is when it is missed.
Response is not restoration. A four-hour response target means an engineer is working the fault within four hours; it is not a promise that the line is back by then. Any supplier quoting a restoration time should be asked what happens when they miss it, because that is the part with a cost attached.
Uptime is also measured against the circuit, not against your building. A power cut at your site, a failed router you own, or a cable pulled out of a wall are outside it. That is standard across the industry and worth knowing before an incident rather than during one.
What a home connection does not carry
This is a distinction between two products, not a gap in one.
Residential broadband has no individual uptime commitment, no committed restoration time and no named contact. We say it plainly on the home terms as well, because a promise nobody can keep on a residential line is worth less than an honest description of one.
If uptime genuinely matters (a clinic, a trading desk, a hotel, anything where an hour offline has a number attached), the answer is a business connection, not a bigger home plan.
Organisations already on our network
91 businesses and institutions across Maharashtra run on Gazon connectivity, grouped here the way our own capability deck groups them.

Where Gazon is available
Internet leased lines and business bandwidth reach anywhere in India, with established presence in 14 Maharashtra cities. Each circuit is surveyed and quoted for the address. Home broadband is a separate and shorter footprint: see home coverage.
