Two to four megabits up per 1080p camera, continuously. Multiply by the number of cameras and that is your upstream floor.
Cameras and connected devices send all day. That is upload, and it is the half most connections are thin on.
Unlimited on every tier, symmetric upload and free installation*. Prices exclude GST.
1–2 people · HD streaming, browsing, calls

Family of 3–4 · some 4K, one working from home

Multiple 4K screens · two on calls, gaming

Large home · 15+ devices, heavy upload

Cameras are the only thing in a house that uploads continuously. A 1080p feed is roughly 2 to 4 Mbps sustained, so four cameras are 8 to 16 Mbps going out, all day, every day, before anyone makes a call. On a connection with a small upload allowance that is most of it gone.
Every Gazon plan is symmetric, so the upstream is the same size as the downstream at every tier. That is the property this use case needs: continuous recording generates a very large month by design, and all of it goes upstream.
The other half is coverage rather than speed. Smart plugs, sensors and doorbells mostly use 2.4 GHz because it reaches further through walls, and a device in the garage that keeps dropping is a Wi-Fi placement problem no tariff will fix.
Size the plan for the household, not for the one device. Everything else on the line is what makes the difference.
| Usage | Best for | Suggested speed | From, on 365 days |
|---|---|---|---|
| A few devices | Two or three cameras plus the house | 100 Mbps | ₹425/mo |
| A connected home | Four to six cameras and streaming | 200 Mbps | ₹600/mo |
| Cameras everywhere | Eight cameras, 4K, calls alongside | 300 Mbps | ₹705/mo |
| Nothing competes | Full coverage and heavy household use | 400 Mbps | ₹845/mo |

Remote viewing pulls the feed back out through the same upload path. Two people watching two cameras doubles it.
Some NVRs want one for remote access. Static IPs come with our business connections; for a home plan, ask when you check availability.
Almost no bandwidth, but they need reach. 2.4 GHz goes further through walls than 5 GHz does.
The heavy downstream devices, sharing a line with cameras going the other way. Symmetric means they do not fight.
The largest single upload in most smart homes. Schedule it for the night, when the rest of the house is quiet.
Put cameras and NVRs on a cable wherever the run is possible: a camera that drops off Wi-Fi is a camera that recorded nothing. Where it is not possible, 2.4 GHz usually holds better at distance than 5 GHz even though it is slower.
Work out your upstream floor before choosing a plan: number of cameras x 3 Mbps is a fair estimate for 1080p. Then leave room on top for the household, because the cameras never stop.
