The honest version
Why fiber broadband is better for streaming
Streaming is the one use where the arithmetic is simple. A 4K stream is roughly 15 to 25 Mbps, HD about 5, and music under 1. So the question is never what one screen needs. It is how many are running at once, and what else is on the line while they do.
Two 4K screens, a couple of phones and someone on a video call is about 60 to 70 Mbps at peak. That fits inside 100 Mbps on paper and inside 200 Mbps comfortably, which is why 200 Mbps is the plan most households settle on rather than the one they start with.

Light individually, heavy together. Ten devices idling still hold connections open; it is the concurrency rather than the bandwidth that decides whether the evening feels slow.
Wifi + OTT
Adds 15+ OTT platforms for ₹126–130 a month over Wifi Only on the 1-year plan. If you already pay for three subscriptions, that is the arithmetic worth doing.
Downloads for the flight
A 4K film downloaded rather than streamed is 15 to 20 GB, which on 200 Mbps takes under fifteen minutes.
Everyone else
Streaming does not happen alone. The plan has to carry the calls, the homework and the console at the same time, which is what the speed guide above is really sizing.

Setup
Getting 4K to actually look like 4K
Most complaints about a streaming picture are Wi-Fi complaints. The TV is usually the furthest device from the router and the one with the worst antenna, so it suffers first. Use the 5 GHz band, keep the router in the open rather than in a cabinet, and cable the TV where the two are in the same room.
The app matters too: most services quietly drop resolution rather than pause, so a picture that looks soft is often the app deciding the line is not steady, not the line being slow. That is worth checking before upgrading a plan.

Streaming: common questions
How much speed do I need for 4K streaming?
About 15 to 25 Mbps for one 4K stream. The plan should be sized for how many run at once plus everything else in the house: 100 Mbps carries one comfortably, 200 Mbps two or three with room for calls and phones.
Which OTT apps are included?
The Wifi + OTT tier bundles 15+ OTT platforms, for ₹126–130 a month more than Wifi Only on the 1-year plan. Ask for the current app list when you check availability, since the line-up changes as providers come and go.
Why does my stream buffer on a fast plan?
Usually Wi-Fi rather than the line. The TV is often the furthest device from the router with the weakest antenna. Try the 5 GHz band or a cable before changing plan.
Can I watch on several screens at once?
Yes. The plan carries them; whether a particular service allows simultaneous streams is set by that service's own subscription, not by us.
Do I need a separate set-top box?
Not for the app bundle, which runs on your TV, phone or laptop. Equipment for live channels depends on the TV you have; ask when you check availability.
