Start with what is not true. A retail trading platform uses very little bandwidth: a few megabits for streaming quotes and charts, less for order entry. No broadband plan on this page will make a fill arrive faster in any way you can measure, and anyone selling you speed for that reason is selling you something else.

What a connection genuinely decides is whether it is there. A line that drops for ninety seconds during a position is the whole risk, and that is a question about the physical network and the support behind it rather than about megabits. Gazon builds and maintains its own fiber rather than reselling someone else's capacity, which means a fault is ours to fix rather than something we raise upstream and wait on.

We publish no latency figure, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does for a residential line. If your strategy is genuinely latency-sensitive, what you need is a leased line with a written SLA, or co-location, which is a different business entirely. For everyone else, the honest advice is a steady line and a second one on a phone for the day the first fails.
